HELLO EVERYONE, THIS IS A LISTING FOR A BEAUTIFUL MATCHED PAIR OF 289 HI PO CYLINDER HEADS. I BOUGHT THESE FROM A GUY THAT I KNEW ABOUT 23 YEARS AGO THAT HE HAD SITTING ON HIS GARAGE SHELF. THESE HEADS HAVE JUST BEEN COMPLETELY REBUILT, BY MY LOCAL SPEED MACHINE SHOP, TO FACTORY SPECS. THE BILL, WHICH I INCLUDED A PICTURE OF, COST $988.00 THE HEADS ARE A MATCHED SET WITH 19 BEING ON EACH HEAD. THE CASTING DATES ON EACH HEAD IS 4J16(SEPTEMBER 16, 1964) AND 4G23(JULY 23, 1964). THESE ARE GREAT FOR A EARLY 1965 HI PO MUSTANG OR 1965 SHELBY GT350. HERE IS WHAT WAS DONE: HOT TANKED, MAGNAFLUXED HEADS TO CHECKED FOR CRANCKS NON FOUND, GLASS BEAD. FRESH 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB DONE ON SERDI MACHINE TO FACTORY ANGLES OF:15/30/45. NEW BRONZE WALL GUIDES INSTALLED AND HONED TO FIT NEW VALVES. DECKS WERE CUT, BUT NOT MUCH, TO BE PERFECT. INCLUDES NEW STAINLESS INTAKE VALVES OF 1.940 & NEW STAINLESS 1.600 EXHAUST VALVES. ALL NEW STUDS. NEW FACTORY SPEC SPRINGS THAT WILL WORK FOR STOCK TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE STOCK SPECS. HEADS HAVE BEEN PAINTED HIGH TEMP CORRECT COLOR BLACK FOR 1965 ENGINES. THESE ARE ALL NEW AND READY TO BOLT RIGHT ON AND GO WITH NO ISSUES. THE HEADS ARE SOLD AS IS BUT AGAIN WERE COMPLETLY REDONE. The Jeep Wrangler Arctic two-door, based ironically on the Sahara model, is available in winter-themed colors such as Winter Chill (a light blue), Bright Silver and Bright White. A four-door Wrangler Unlimited Arctic version also is available.

The VW XL1 arrived at the Qatar Motor Show in 2011, a two-seater diesel-electric hybrid with a design that looks like it came from a 1920s view of the future, and claims of a gazillion miles to the gallon. At the time VW debuted the XL1 we reckoned there was as much chance of it going in to production as McLaren’s latest Formula One car making it in to a showroom, and that the XL1 was just a test bed for all the future tech that might just find its way in to Volkswagen’s road cars.
Toyota fails to land 'top safety pick' rating in insurance-group study
Wed, 18 Nov 2009For the first time in three years, none of Toyota Motor Corp.'s vehicles received “top safety pick” ratings from an insurance group, as tougher criteria pared the number of selections from 94 last year to 27 this year. Ford Motor Co. led all automakers for the second year in a row with six 2010-model top safety picks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, including four from Volvo, a brand that's being sold.
