This is a rebuilt head for a 3.0L GM / Mercruiser

Casting # 954

This Windy City cylinder head was thoroughly cleaned and inspected

Pressure tested and magnafluxed to ensure no cracks or leaks in casting

Valve guide liners were installed

And the valve guides were cut for a positive seal

Three Angle Valve job performed on Rotttler seat machine

We also pull a vacuum on each valve to insure a perfect seal between the valve and the seat 

CBN milled to ensure straightness and correct finish

Assembled with all new stainless steel 1.940 intake and 1.600 exhaust valves

 All new valve springs, valve seals, valve locks

and brass freeze plugs


All machine work performed on the latest state of the art equipment

Electric car sales DOWN 20% in 2012 – time to scrap subsidies for EVs?

The SMMT are reporting that sales of electric cars in the UK have fallen by 20 per cent in the year to date (2012). Despite every green evangelist proclaiming that electric cars are the way to save the planet from imminent doom, UK car buyers obviously disagree. Despite a taxpayer bribe of £5000 to buy an over-priced electric car, car buyers have not exactly taken to the EV in droves.

British motor show axed for good?

The British motor show will not go ahead in 2012, the organisers confirmed today. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders dashed hopes that the UK expo could return after the recession put stop to 2010's event - effectively ending over a century of UK motor shows. 'The British International Motor Show has been a tremendously successful showcase for the UK motor industry,' said SMMT chief exec Paul Everitt.
