3/8" x 120 ft. Black w/White Tracers. Double Braid Dacron/Polyester Main Sail Halyard. Made in the USA ! Has a spliced in 3 &1/4" Stainless Steel Swivel Snap Shackle. The splice is "properly" spliced with a permanent neck whip and has a permanent bitter end whip to prevent unraveling of the line. The term heat sealed translates to: (just too darn lazy & cheap to do the job properly !) The splices are done by a former US Coast Guardsman. Regular eyetests should be 'mandatory' for all drivers
Thu, 28 Aug 2014EYESIGHT tests for all drivers should be made compulsory and nine out of ten drivers (87%) of motorists in the UK support this idea. There are 2,900 road casualties each year in the UK caused by poor eyesight. Road safety charity Brake is asking the government to introduce mandatory eyesight tests for all drivers when they renew their driving licence every 10 years.
Alarming number of drivers lack road sign knowledge
Thu, 08 May 2014A THIRD OF DRIVERS in the UK do not know even the most basic road signs such as the National Speed Limit and Slippery Road warnings. This is the finding of a survey by More Than, which found that 34% of drivers in the UK did not know what the National Speed Limit sign was. The Slippery Road sign was misunderstood by one in seven drivers as meaning ‘paint on the road.’ With research conducted alongside 29 police forces, the survey found 20% of UK drivers had received penalty points for speeding in the past 10 years.

The B-segment (for 1976, anyway) newcomer weighed in at a scant 1,998 pounds and carried an equally lightweight MSRP of $2,899. Farley described how the Chevette handled some of the rigors of testing, which included hauling four journalists and their camera equipment around the Black Lake testing facility in Milford, Mich.
