3 Antique (1) Auto Window Riser Handle and (2) Door Handles One of Cast Iron

ATTENTION  I ship ALL fragile things PRIORITY MAIL INSURED ONLY which I offer at cost.  It is more expensive but worth it for your and my protection as EXPERIENCE has shown this to be the safest way to ship fragile items.  The cost between Priority and Parcel Post under 5 pounds is insignificant.  If over 10 pounds I generally ship UPS as safest way to go.  Additionally I pack and wrap things very well to insure safe arrival.

This is for a vintage interior automobile window riser crank handle.  It has a 3/8" bore and is about 4" long.  It has fine grooves along the side of the handle.  It has the number 24 on the underside of it.  The cast iron handle has "W 78" cast in it and is a fairly crude affair and likely from an early day truck.  It is about 4" long.  The last one is nickle plated brass and likely a handle to open either a trunk or rumble seat or some such.  It is about 3 1/2" long.   Thanks for looking and good luck!

This goes USPS Priority shipping and includes FREE insurance.  There ARE NO charges for packing and wrapping but are always just the USPS charges.  If I miss the weight it comes out of MY pocket not yours.  People STILL keep hitting me down in on the shipping in feedback which is a mystery to me as I OFTEN ship Priority which is a bit more expensive but on fragile items much more likely to arrive in one piece.  THESE COSTS ARE FOR YOUR PROTECTION!  Please understand that.  This item may weigh out as much as 15 ounces less than the indicated weight BUT the USPS rounds UP the weight to the greatest pound over that additional ounce.  This is true whether Priority or Parcel Post - this is NOT my doing.  I spend a lot on bubble wrap and am glad to offer it for FREE but am at a loss as to why I am being consistently down rated on the cost of the postage and handling which I have NO control over.

International buyers must pay with Pay Pal.
Please note that all Internationally shipped packages will go out Priority International shipping with default insurance included with additional coverage over $66 available.  This change is due to problems with international shipping.  $1.75 is charged as a handling fee to cover cost of shipping materials.  All items are carefully packed and wrapped.  Attention International buyers! Cross border customers are responsible for any customs charges some of you will receive those charges C.O.D however these are CUSTOMS charges NOT additional postage charges. Thanks for looking.

Additional pictures are CHEERFULLY provided.  Will try to answer any questions.

Bentley Mulsanne Turbo: 30 years ago this week, Bentley was re-born

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

1982 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo (photo courtesy WO Bentley Memorial Foundation) The Bentley Mulsanne Turbo was launched thirty years ago this week at the 1982 Geneva Motor Show, and Bentley was re-born. It’s hard to believe now, but until Rolls Royce launched the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo in 1982 Bentleys were nothing more than re-badged Rolls Royces and accounted for an insignificant 5 per cent of Rolls Royce sales. But the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo changed all that and put Bentley on the road to success with the first ’Blower’ Bentley in half a century.

General Motors has decided to sell a diesel version of the Chevrolet Cruze compact in the United States, the Associated Press reported today, citing two people familiar with the plans. Sources told the AP the car would get about 50 miles per gallon on the highway and help GM address stricter government fuel economy standards. The diesel-powered Cruze is at least two years from U.S.
