Incredible 'see-through bonnet' technology revealed

LAND ROVER has unveiled a barely believable new technology that allows off-road drivers to effectively see through the bonnet all the way to the ground. Cameras mounted on the front grille film the terrain and transmit the visual feed to a head-up display for the driver. The alignment is set up to perfectly match the real angle of view beyond the bonnet, creating seamless visibility right back to the car’s wheels.

Cadillac's ATS compact saloon will go on sale in Europe following the car's centre-stage appearance on the Cadillac stand at the 2012 Paris motor show next month. With provisions made for right-hand drive versions, Cadillac is clearly serious about entering the UK market again, despite the sink-without-trace disappearing act that was the BLS. Swathed in cream leather, the Estoque’s interior is dominated by a huge transmission tunnel that divides the cockpit into four individual zones, each with its own bucket seat. There’s a razor-sharp, angular theme at work in the cabin: even the column stalks are hexagonal.
