This is a complete set (4 pairs) of new old stock, Ford flathead V8, connecting rod bearings in .030 undersize ID with standard OD. These fit 1939 thru 1948 Ford and Merc passenger, pickup and truck with V8 95/100 hp except 1948 commercial (generally speaking 3 3/16” bore engines). These N.O.S. bearings are Ford part # 99A or 99T 6211. Thirty thousandths undersize for crank shaft rod journals measuring 2.108/2.109.  These bearings are in mint condition with a little shelf wear from long term storage and have never been installed or tested. They are not in the original boxes.

LIVES WERE SAVED after quick-thinking lorry drivers alerted motorway users to an elderly motorist heading the wrong way down the M6. The Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) said hauliers on the northbound M6 in Warwickshire had "shadowed" the wrong-way driver, whose car was travelling north on the southbound carriageway. The motorist is thought to have suffered a major medical episode and is being treated in hospital.
