WARRANTY ON FUEL PACKS

GREAT Outdoor Products warranties that their products will be free from defects due to faulty materials or workmanship to the original purchaser.

This warranty covers products or items found to be defective under normal use and conditions. GREAT Outdoor Products will, at it's discretion, either repair or replace any defective product covered by this warranty. We stand behind the RotopaX Fuel Pack and the craftsmanship behind its construction. Please note the following conditions.

Customers must first request an RMA number. This is a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Once you receive your RMA, please write the RMA on the box you ship the item back in. Any non-warranty returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

While we guarantee our fuel packs won't fail, we limit our liability to replacement of the product only and cannot be responsible for vehicle or property damage. We are human, and mistakes can be made. If we ship in error, an RMA must still be obtained.

We warranty RotopaX containers for 10 (ten) years and FuelpaX containers for 5 (five) years to the original purchaser against any manufacturing defect. Blemished packs come with a 1 (one) year warranty.

RotopaX and FuelpaX are free from defects in materials and workmanship that cause such systems to fail to conform with each of the requirements specified in CP-501 for a period of one year from the date of sale.

In order for a warranty replacement be considered for any fuel pack, please note:

You do not need to ship the fuel pack back to us if it has contained fuel of any kind. Shipping companies prohibit the shipping of fuels or containers that have any fuel residue or fuel vapor inside. However, we will need a detailed photo showing the defect, and also a photo of the fuel pack in question with a minimum of a 1/4 inch size hole drilled into the side. This will prevent the pack being replaced from ever being used again. Unless we receive a detailed photo of the leak, and a photo of the pack with a hole, we will not warranty the item.

We recommend venting fuel packs daily based on temperature and elevation changes.

Shipping Details:
Please keep in mind, once the item leaves our warehouse, we don't have ANY control over the item when it is in transit. In some cases, you may need to contact the carrier that shipped your item. Orders made after 1 PM MST won't go out until the next business day.

Return Policy:
In the unlikely event that a return is requested, all returns must include all original items undamaged, in un-used condition. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs incurred shipping products back. We have a 10% restocking fee on any non-warranty returns. In all instances, we need a photo of the issue for warranty. We do this to keep track of warranty returns. For fuel packs that have had fuel in them, and have developed a warranty issue, we do not need the item shipped back, but will need a photograph of the issue.

Factory Seconds:
For listings of factory seconds (blemished) fuel packs, we still offer a one year warranty. Blemished means the pack may have cosmetic issues. For example, the lettering might not be raised enough, or there might be a cosmetic blemish in the neck. We only sell functional products. We reserve the right to end blemished listings at will based on availability.

EPA:
Per EPA rules, we can only sell gasoline packs within the United States in red only. International orders may be able to order in black or OD Green,based on availability and listing. We don't always have these in stock, so please contact us before ordering.
