I am selling a 408w (351w Dart Sportsman Block). This is a professionally built motor by Houston Engine & Balancing. It has all forged internals. Eagle Forged Crank, Eagle Forged Connecting Rods, and JE Dished Pistons. Arp Bolts were installed on the Connecting Rods for durability. Compression is 10 to 1. It also has AFR 205 Heads, with Crower Springs. Intake Manifold is an EFI Trick Flow Intake. All the internals are from Ford Racing: Double Roller Timing Chain, Roller Lifters. The Roller Rockers are Crane Gold Race Version at 1.6. Cam is a Comp Cam Hydraulic Roller, 230/236 555/576 las 110. Ford Racing EFI Valve Covers, Comp Cams Custom Push Rods. Ford Racing SFI Approved Harmonic Balancer, Ford Racing High Volume Racing Oil Pump, and Shaft. Ford Racing Timing Cover. Moroso 7 quart Racing Oil Pan with Windage Tray. All gaskets are Top of the line From Felpro, and ARP Bolts everywhere, including Head Studs. This a performance motor that can be raced or daily driven. Built to last, and all hard parts are from the best manufacturers. It took a year to build and just don1t have time for this project anymore. Got married and had kids, and project is just sitting in the garage. Its time for a new home. Never used, its brand new. I am willing to take reasonable offers, but I am not starving. Stop-Start Freelander on the way
Mon, 01 Dec 2008Land Rover has announced that it will be introducing stop-start technology on its Freelander range from May 2009, thus saving around 8% on the Co2 emissions, and taking the Freelander down a group on VED, which should help move a few more Freelanders off forecourts next year. The technology for the stop-start was developed in-house, with a new engine management system coming from Bosch and an uprated starter from Denso. The stop-start option will be available on the 2.2 TD4, which accounts for nearly half of UK sales.
