PRO12-48M

  • Battery Monitor - Connect to any fully charged 48 volt  lead acid battery.
  • Works on standard lead acid batteries as the meter can be set for one of two discharge curves found from different battery manufacturers. Exide, Trojan, Continental and Interstate batteries will NOT work on the standard meters found on the market today. The PRO12-48M resolves this issue as it can be wired to work on these newer type batteries.
    • Curve 1 - Standard Lead Acid batteries have a discharge curve of 41.52 volts empty to 49.31 volts full.
    • Cruve 2 - For newer designed "hot" acid batteries with a discharge curve of  46.23 volts empty to 50.88 volts full as found on Exide and Trojan deep cycle batteries.
  • Internal Relay - can be wired for Normally Open or Normally closed operation for controlling secondary devices- limited to 200 ma.
    • Relay opens or closes (depending on how you wire it) when the display shows fully discharged - flashing red #1 and yellow #2 LEDs
  • Can be used on forklifts, golf carts, solar sytems and any other battery powered equipment
  • Battery Status
    • The battery meter has 10 LEDS that will light to show the battery condition. When fully charged, only the 10th LED will light shown a green LED.
    • As the battery discharges, successively lower LEDs will light; the 9th, 8th, 7th and so on lighting only 1 LED.
    • At approximately 30% battery life, the #3 LED will light and the color is Yellow as a caution indicator.
    • At approximately 20% battery life remaining, the #2 LED will light as a Flashing Yellow.
    • When the battery discharges to approximately ~10% remaining life, the #1 LED will start FLASHING RED with the #2 LED FLASHING Yellow alternately.

It is recommended to have the battery or batteries recharged when the #3 LED lights Yellow as a safety margin to prevent dead batteries.

CAUTION: This is not a full proof device and no warranty is made that your battery/batteries is/are in good condition.

Vauxhall Corsa Black & White Limited Edition launches

Sun, 23 May 2010

The Vauxhall Corsa Black & White We know that Limited Edition cars shift metal in quiet times. What other reason could there be for manufacturers seemingly giving away options on a Limited Edition car? So if you want the options that are being thrown in the deal – and would have ordered them up if you specced a standard car – then it’s a good deal.

Peugeot RCZ Hybrid looks certain

Mon, 14 Sep 2009

Peugeot seems certain to put the RCZ Hybrid in to production And that ‘Yeah, right’ has now turned in to a ‘Who are you kidding?’ after Peugeot released information today on the RCZ Hybrid4 that frankly wouldn’t warrant doing unless they were already set on a production model. Not more information than we had a couple of weeks ago, but why bother with a new press release on the Hybrid RCZ when you’d already covered it? Unless you want more coverage because you’re going to make it, that is.
