You're looking at a NEW master rebuild kit, one of our HD torque converters (DHPF Code), and a Transgo SK 4L60E kit (700r4 shown). This package is for the 1997-2003 4L60E.
The rebuild kit contains all Borg-Warner clutches and "Steel plates." Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing and MOLDED PISTON KIT. This kit also comes with the band. The torque converter that comes in this kit is balanced and pressure tested and has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. This converter has a stock stall speed and will be fine for up to 500 hp. The code on the converter is DHPF and must match your stock converter code. The shift kit Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: FIXES Code 1870 Trouble light & Hard 1-2 shift. No lockup or 4th. Fixes harmonic bounce that wears out pump and valves and causes shuttle shifts. Fwd and L/R clutch burnup; 1-2 bump; double bump; slide-bump. Has new design Isolator/Conv Valve that works Perfect in worn bore w/o special tools or machining. Mon, 15 Jul 2013The Toyota GT86 TRD Griffon 9Pictured) made its debut at Goodwood this weekend We’re still waiting for Toyota to make a more powerful version of the GT86 (and Subaru the BRZ), but we are starting to get more focused versions. We’ve already seen the GT86 TRD – developed by Toyota Racing development – as a road car limited edition, and last month we learnt that Toyota were going to debut a track version – the GT86 TRD Griffon – and that it would arrive at Goodwood. Now the Griffon has arrived looking immensely purposeful with its wings and diffuser and carbon fibre for the roof, doors, bonnet and boot and some severe fettling of the oily stuff with upgraded brakes, new alloys, mechanical limited slip diff and stiffer suspension.

Mon, 19 May 2014The Persuaders Aston Martin DBS sold at Bonhams Aston Martin Works sale As we reported back in March, the Aston Martin DBS driven by Roger Moore in the 1970s TV Series The Persuaders – where Moore played Lord Brett Sinclair and Tony Curtis Danny Wilde – was up for sale this weekend at the Bonhams Aston Martin works sales Newport Pagnell. The first time this iconic TV car had been offered for sale in 40 years – although without its iconic ‘BS 1′ number plate – the DBS fetched an impressive £533,500 (including buyers premium and taxes) – a world record price. Compared to the huge prices reached by James Bond Aston Martins, the price paid for the Persuaders DBS was small, but in terms of the price paid for a ‘TV’ car it was huge.
