The transmissions is completely disassembled and processed through a hot cleaning spray cabinet to insure all parts are completely clean. All hard parts are then inspected to insure they meet OEM specifications. Any that do not, are replaced, all of the following parts are replaced, regardless of their condition.

·        Clutches  (Raybestos or Borg Warner only)

·        Band   ( Borg Warner only)

·        Bushings  (all bushings are replaced)

·         Sun Shell,  heavy duty version

·         New Separator plate

·        All molded Pistons

·        New Filter  (Raybestos or Borg Warner)

·        Complete overhaul kit (includes all gaskets, seals and sealing rings)

·        The outside of the transmission is cleaned, painted Cast Blast Grey.

The brain of the transmission, the valve body, is given special attention. It is disassembled individually by a technician and hand cleaned in special solvents. Then it is carefully reassembled to original specifications. All of our valve bodies include a Shift Improver Kit made by TransGo for added performance. All transmissions are then assembled by our highly qualified rebuilders. They must pass an extensive dynamometer test to ensure shift quality and hydraulic pressure specifications for your vehicle.

 

Your Old Transmission

This transmission is sold on an exchange basis. We are responsible for shipping charges to return the old transmission back to our facility. The buyer agrees to package and ship the old transmission back to us within 30 days using the same packaging their new transmission arrived in. If the transmission is not returned when requested, the buyer agrees to pay the seller an additional $200.00 core charge.

Warranty:

 This transmission comes with a 12 month or 12,000 mileage warranty.  If for any reason you have a problem with our transmission, please contact us. We’ll work with you to solve whatever problem you’re having.

The extent of our responsibility is repairing or replacing your transmission. We are not responsible for any incidentals including rental cars or labor time.

Clay modeler turns steel sculptor in new exhibition

A GM Holden clay modeler who has used his skills to transform scrap metal into over 400 works of art will display his creations at an new exhibition in Melbourne, Australia.   Jamie Schena, whose sculptures will be displayed in his ‘Mechanisation' show at custom bike shop Gasolina, sold his first artwork in 2001 after starting to sculpt models from bits of scrap metal lying around his father's workshop. After helping to rebuild engines and design farm machinery in his family's mechanical and engineering business, he moved to Melbourne to study Industrial Design at Monash University.
