These are valve covers came off a 2001 Ford Expedition that had the 5.4 triton engine. The engine was bad but the valve covers are in good condition no cracks and may work on other trucks and SUV's. It seems likely that the new SLK will come with a new set of engines, with more than a passing nod to eco-concerns. In will come a 1.6 litre, four-pot supercharged engine that will pick up the mantle from the old 1.8 litre Kompressor engine – same power – or more – with lower emissions and better economy.

Fiat-Chrysler to make Jeeps, Alfas in Italy starting in 2012
Sun, 28 Nov 2010Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group will build Alfa Romeo and Jeep models for global distribution as part of a new joint-venture company that will take control over Fiat's Mirafiori plant in Turin, Fiat said Friday. Fiat-Chrysler will invest more than 1 billion euros (more than $1.3 billion) to retool the factory.
