Hennessey Performance upgrades the Ford Mustang Boss 302
Wed, 31 Aug 2011The tuner guys at Hennessey Performance took the Ford Mustang Boss 302 behind their curtain, plopped a supercharger on top--among other things--and headed to the drag strip. The outcome? Hennessey says 11.9 seconds at 124 mph for the quarter-mile--and that's with a 0-to-60-mph time at a Porsche-like 3.9 seconds.
Smart ForTwo Edition Urbanstyle arrives
Thu, 04 Mar 2010The Smart Fortwo Edition Urbanstyle - the cabriolet shown is a 'Special Order'. We can’t be 100% certain, but we think it’s highly likely that there is no such thing as a ‘Regular’ Smart. Whenever we come across a Smart car it’s always a ‘Special Edition’ or a ‘Limited Edition’ or an ‘Edition’ of some description.
Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-riding MPV – to debut at Frankfurt 2011
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-slung MPV Don’t look at the Peugeot HX1 Concept and think you’ll be walking in to your local Peugeot showroom next year and driving off in one, because you won’t. The HX1 is a showcase for where Peugeot sees the brand going in terms of “…architecture, aerodynamics, modularity, equipment, interior materials, the environment and powerplants.” Just like so many concepts from Peugeot of late – the funky HR1 Concept and the almost Aston Martin-esque SR1 spring to mind – the HRX1 is a crackingly good-looking car. A bit like a Mercedes R-Class with a proper injection of Gallic style and flair.
