Brit GP moves to Donington Park

It’s a return to the East Midlands circuit after 17 years, which last hosted the Grand Prix of Europe in 1993. To bring the circuit up to scratch for the Formula One crowd Donington Park has announced it will commence a 5-year, £100m investment programme.
Volvo to skip Tokyo Motor Show
Fri, 16 Jan 2009Volvo, the Swedish unit of Ford Motor Co., will not participate in the Tokyo Motor Show this fall. "We have evaluated our participation at motor shows for 2009 to see how we can make the most out of our resources, and this year we decided not to participate at Tokyo," Volvo spokeswoman Maria Bohlin said today in an e-mail. Karim Habib to Head Exterior Design at BMW

News of that new appointment was revealed today and, as of March 2011, Karim Habib will become the new Head of Exteriors at BMW Design. No stranger to BMW Design, Habib comes back to the Munich-based carmaker after a two year absence, during which time he worked for rival German carmaker Mercedes-Benz.
