I picked this one up with a bunch of stuff in a house old auction and it is time to move it on down the line. The information on the box is that it is a rebuilt regulator by Cherokee and there stock number is 511. The side of the regulator is marked 945 12V-N-5A. It does have some rust issues from sitting in a garage for who knows how many years. It does not look like it was installed as the screw holes were plated with the rebuild process and look un touched. I can no guarantee this item because improper installation can ruin it and If this one is installed on the wrong car it might not be good ether. I do feel confident that it was never used and will work.

I picked this one up with a bunch of stuff in a house hold auction and it is time to move it on down the line.    The information on the box is that it is a rebuilt regulator by Cherokee and there stock number is 511.  The side of the regulator is marked 945 12V-N-5A.  It does have some rust issues from sitting in a garage for who knows how many years.   It does not look like it was installed as the screw holes were plated with the rebuild process and they look un touched.    I can no guarantee this item because improper installation can ruin it and If this one is installed on the wrong car it might not be good ether.    I do feel confident that it was never used and will work.  It kind of heavy so shipping will be $12.00.   To all those who like to take issue with ebayers over charging for shipping remember that ebay takes 13% (or more) of ever dime sent to a seller.  I collect $12.00  I get $10.44 to ship.  We both lose.   Then WE get dinged for over charging for shipping on ARE rating.

Citroen C1 Recall – only 36 UK cars affected

Mon, 01 Feb 2010

Citroen are recalling just 36 cars in the UK over the sticky throttle problem Yesterday we ran a story on the Toyota Recall spreading to affect Citroen and Peugeot, and commenting that we thought the number of cars in the UK that would be affected would be relatively small, certainly in comparison to the number of Toyotas affected. And it turns out we were right – just 36 Citroen C1s sold in the UK have a potential problem. Which is very good news for Citroen.

French government vows Renault reform after meeting with Ghosn

Fri, 18 Mar 2011

The French government will see to it that the individuals responsible for the now debunked Renault SA espionage affair are dealt with, the Finance and Industry ministers said in a statement. "The ministers underscored that they will pay close attention to organizational reform and individual responsibility (at Renault) based on the result of the audit," Finance minister Christine Lagarde and Industry Minister Eric Besson said in a joint statement after meeting with Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn on Thursday. The French state, which owns 15 percent of Renault, has called for a thorough investigation into discredited claims that three Renault executives were spying on the carmaker, possibly for a foreign government.

Maserati Levante SUV won't be imported from Detroit after all

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

For years, we've been hearing that the upcoming Maserati Levante SUV -- which debuted as the Maserati Kubang -- would be built at Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit. The prospect of a high-dollar luxury crossover coming out of the gritty Motor City was intriguing, but the scheme made a certain sense -- the Levante is built on the same platform as the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Unfortunately, it's not gonna happen.
