Range Rover Evoque Price: An Evoque for under £28k
Mon, 04 Apr 2011The Range Rover Evoque finally gets a price in the UK - from £28k We’re beginning to wonder if any car launch has been as long and drawn out as that of the Range Rover Evoque. What we now know as the Evoque kicked off over three years ago as the Land Rover LRX, but turned in to the Evoque at a publicity bash at Kensington Palace last Summer. Since then we’ve had endless stories (well, around 40 since the Evoque was named) covering everything from the Evoque engine and model detail through to the 3-door Evoque (the Evoque Coupe) and the 5-door Evoque being revealed at different times.
Pagani Huayra in Purple with Tricolour Calipers (video)
Sun, 11 Nov 2012We have video of what looks like a new build Pagani Huayra, still plastic wrapped, in purple with Italian Tricolour brake calipers. That’s because the Pagani Huayra has not, as far as we can tell, managed to get a European Certificate of Conformity or managed to be Federalised for the US, so sales are impossible. But Pagani are still producing a few cars – although they’ve probably built more Zondas in the last two years than Huayras – but it looks like this Huayra – caught on video outside Pagaini’s premises in Modena – is a new build.
Ford begins building 1.0 Ecoboost, a microsized 3cyl
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Ford chief exec Alan Mulally was in Essex today to launch the first 1.0-litre Ecoboost engine, which was developed by powertrain engineers at Dunton and Dagenham. The new 999cc triple will be built at Cologne in a new £110m production line – and will first be seen in the new Ford Focus in 2012. How powerful is Ford's new 1.0 Ecoboost?
