Brand New Custom Complete 8-71 Blower by TBS (Larger Blower to 14-71 Also Available)
Boost for boost, the 71 series' helical, three lobe rotor configuration
and rotor profile will give you added horsepower over the two-lobe,
straight rotor design now seen in some competitor's 71 Series units.
Other features include billet front cover and bearing plates on both
front and rear standard for added strength and a brilliant finish with
no porosity. Billet snout with a 1-1/4" 4340 heat-treated input shaft
and coupler for added strength and durability, suitable for competition.
Billet carb adapters and idler assembly. Standard with 8mm pulleys and
belt with a wider drive ratio selection than 1/2" pitch pulleys. Supercharger with billet bearing plates and billet
front cover, blower manifold, aluminum blower studs, billet snout with
heat-treated 4340 main shaft and coupler, billet pulleys, 8mm blower
belt, accessory pulley, biller idler pulley and bracket and billet carb
adapter. Fully polished and Fully Installed on BBC engine.

Britain has lost another of the champions of its specialist sports-car industry, Graham Nearn, who died on Oct. 24 at age 76. Originally a Lotus dealer, Nearn built a highly successful sports-car business around the lightweight two-seat Lotus Seven, which he bought from Lotus founder Colin Chapman in 1973.

CDN has learned that Lowie Vermeersch has resigned from Pininfarina, where he was Design Director. According to our sources, the Belgian designer has left to pursue other as yet unnamed ventures in the design industry. Vermeersch has been at Pininfarina for the last 12 years, leading the design team that created the new Ferrari 458 as well as the Duettottanta and Sintesi concept cars.

Work has stopped on a planned electric version of the Opel Adam minicar due to high costs. The project had progressed to the development of a working car using technology from the upcoming Chevrolet Spark EV minicar. "It was a business decision," said Dieter Metz, Opel's chief engineer for the Adam.
