Finally - after years of repairing rotted tailgates, paying too much for rust free tailgates or just giving up; a brand new complete tailgate for 1955-57 Chevy Station Wagons (also fits Pontiac)! All inner bracing, nut plates, rain gutters are in place and 100% correct! The finish and detail is amazing. The only skin holes are the holes needed to attach the handle. We eliminated the trim holes to allow the gate to fit all three years. Remember this tailgate will not fit Nomad or Safari - but we are working on that one as well, so stay tuned.

On Thursday of last week, von Holzhausen resigned from Mazda, where he was Director of Design at the R&D Design Center in Irvine CA, to become the Design Director at Tesla Motors. Fisker Karma recalled over fire risk

The Fisker Karma range-extender EV is being recalled over a fire risk from a faulty cooling fan. We’re not sure how many Fisker Karmas there are in the UK (well, there should be at least one), but so far it appears that there are a surprising 1,900 in the wild. Now those 1,900 (or 2,400 if you count all the Karamas built and heading for customers) are to be recalled after fire destroyed two Karmas in the US.

Saab unions threaten bankruptcy action over unpaid wages

Unions at Saab, which is unable to pay wages to its workers, threatened today to start a legal process that could end in bankruptcy for the iconic brand. The IF Metall and Unionen groups said they would send a formal demand for payment on Monday if their members had not received their wages. "Then the company has seven days to react," IF Metall representative Veli-Pekka Saikkala told Reuters.
