This is Bestop's new "bowless" top. The Trektop NX features removable windows, factory style-door surrounds, Sunrider sunroof features, and a factory-style header bar. The Trektop NX takes away the top bows and frames, and uses the Wrangler sport bars to give it shape and support. This gives the top a fastback or "raceback" look that's stylish, and different than factory soft tops or Supertops. Fits 07-13 Jeep 4-door Wranglers. Black Diamond.

Volvo testing new safety features
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Volvo outlined three new technologies that it says will help make the Volvos of the future a good deal safer: autonomous driving, “Intersection Support” and animal detection. Volvo says it's tailoring technologies to the way people drive, by which it means poorly. The company claims that “surveys from three different research institutes in the United States reveal that modern drivers spend 25 to 30 percent of their time behind the wheel doing other things, such as focusing on mobile communication.” Volvo's new technologies are said take this into account and “provide the driver with the right support at all times.” By using a camera and radar, future Volvos will be able to follow the car in front while driving in slow traffic using an autonomous-driving function.
UK car production down 20%
Thu, 20 Mar 2014CAR PRODUCTION slowed a little last month, according to official figures. A total of 133,730 cars were made in the UK in February - 2.7% fewer than in February 2013, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Cars made for the export market rose 3.5% last month, but manufacturing for the home market was down 20.8%.

After all, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), although still considered by most to be a traditional British car maker, is in fact owned by Indian Conglomerate Tata. And Tata has announced this morning that Jaguar Cars and Land Rovers are to go on sale in India.
