57 1957 Ford Fomoco Right Tail Light Housing Lens Part # Frst-57a on 2040-parts.com

This is an original right side tail light with housing for a 1957 Ford Galaxie. It may fit other years of Ford cars as well, so please check the part number and photos carefully for your application. The housing is in good condition with no cracks or breaks, and original mounting studs are intact and useable. The red lens is intact, however, it does have some hairline fractures and scratches on it, and it is a Glo-brite brand. The chrome trim has a shallow dent in it, along with some pitting, and will need to be repaired and rechromed for show. The inner bucket is rusty, and needs to be cleaned and painted. The original pig tail appears intact and useable.

Euro NCAP crash tests: hybrids score full marks

Dr Michiel van Ratingen, Euro NCAP’s secretary general said: ‘The technology andknow-how is out there for car makers to deliver vehicles with better pedestrianprotection. Honda and Toyota are giving us a glimpse of the cars of the future thatconsider the natural and social environment in its entirety.’ A Toyota official said hybrids posed new problems for its engineers.
Chinese Grand Prix qualifying: Hamilton takes pole for Mercedes
Sat, 13 Apr 2013Lewis Hamilton has grabbed hisĀ firstĀ pole position for Mercedes for tomorrow’s Chinese Grand Prix, with team mate Nico Rosberg in fourth putting second place Kimi Raikkonen in the Lotus and third place Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari in a Mercedes sandwich. Felipe Massa takes fifth in the second Ferrari and Grosjean sixth in the second Lotus with the Toro Rosso of Ricciardo in seventh, but it’s behind that the things get more interesting, especially in a race context. Behind the leading seven are Jenson Button in the McLaren and Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull, but both are on different strategies to the rest of the leaders and will start tomorrow’s race on the medium tyres they used for final qualifying instead of the soft tyres.
Luc Donckerwolke appointed as Seat Design Director
Mon, 08 Aug 2005Belgian designer Luc Donckerwolke will be appointed as Seat Design Director, starting next month. Donckerwolke moves within the Audi Brand Group to replace Walter De'Silva who retains his position as the group's Director of Design. In his new position, Donckerwolke will also take over the Spanish company's Design Centre, currently run by Steve Lewis who is moving on to assume new responsibilies within the Audi Brand Group.
