NEW master rebuild kit for the 2003-2004 Ford 5r110w transmission This kit contains all OEM clutches and "Steel plates." Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild, including a full molded piston kit. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing. Remember to soak all of your clutches in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install them. The implementation may have been a bit primitive, but Ford was on the cusp something big: applying the concepts of the moving assembly line to the complicated, costly process of automobile production.
