Package
Includes:

1 x 4W 12V Solar Briefcase
1 x 1.2m Cable with 12V cigarette socket plug.
1 x 2.5m cable with crocodile clips.

Performance & Operation

The charger will deliver current to the 12V battery at 4W, which means in ideal conditions, the panel will generate 4W of power per hour. This is an optimum amount of power to prevent a large battery going flat - even in winter.

The solar charger is water resistant but should not be left outdoors for long periods - always ensure your battery is kept dry and undercover.
On some makes of car when the ignition key is removed it isolates the battery - in this case you will have to attach the crocodile clips directly to the battery itself.

We recommend using with a battery size of 30Ah or greater. If using with a lower capacity battery then a 4A charge controller will be required.

NOTE: Most car batteries are 70Ah and above.

Safety

Keep the solar charger away from fire to ensure damage and injury do not occur.
Do not dismantle the solar charger
Take care not to damage the electrical leads so to avoid a short circuit.
Handle the electrical clips by the plastic only.

Revival revels in sell-out crowds

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

A SELL-OUT crowd of 148,000 guests witnessed the 17th Goodwood Revival meeting last weekend, including an amazing celebration of the venue’s wartime role. The on-track highlights included the annual RAC TT Celebration race for early-1960s GT cars, which was won by the AC Cobra of Sauber Formula 1 test driver Giedo van der Garde and David Hart, after a thrilling battle against a £150million field that included Jaguar E-types, Aston Martin project cars and even a Bizzarini. Sir Jackie Stewart’s extraordinary career – which was catapulted into life at Goodwood in 1964 thanks to a maiden single-seater test – was marked with a 24-car parade that featured fellow motor racing legends John Surtees, Richard Attwood, Mark Webber and Arturo Merzario The 75th anniversary of RAF Westhampnett – Goodwood Aerodrome’s name during World War II – was marked with a display of 600 military vehicles and personnel, including a flypast that featured the world’s only two airworthy Lancaster bombers.

New 2102 Aston Martin V8 Vantage on video

Sat, 24 Mar 2012

2102 Aston Martin V8 Vantage on video in Paris Having debuted the 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage changes for 2012 in February, Aston Martin has now captured the new V8 Vantage on video in Paris. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage promised so much when it first arrived that we couldn’t help being just a little bit disappointed in the new, smaller Aston designed to beat the 911 at its own game. It looked glorious – a given with any Aston Martin – and it sounded wonderful, especially when you gave it its head, but it just didn’t go as well as expected.

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

This is the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept – a Porsche Panamara Shooting Brake Hybrid – headed for a Paris 2012 debut. There have been rumours for some time that Porsche was going to build a shooting brake version of the Panamera -we reported it would be at Paris 2012 back in July – and on the eve of the Paris Motor Show we get the proof – the first photos of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept. The Panamera Sport looks like it’s got some sort of hybrid powertrain, although we have no details yet from Porsche.
