Techart at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Fri, 18 Sep 2009 00:00:00 -0700

By Tom Sharpe First Official Pictures 18 September 2009 14:30 The aftermarket tuning community began its assault on the Porsche Panamera for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, and leading the pack was Stuttgart-based outfit Techart. Nissan 370Z Nismo cost £36,995 & rest of 370Z range gets a price cut

Fri, 24 May 2013 00:00:00 -0700

The extra bang you get from the Nismo isn’t that great – it gets just 13bhp more than the regular 370Z – but it does get tweaked suspension, brakes and a sports exhaust as well as a rather OTT body kit. The body kit may be a bit too brash for many tastes, but Nissan do say it gives the 370Z levels of downforce that rival the GT-R, so when your neighbours laugh at your Halfords-esque 370Z you can tell them it’s all about the go and not the show. We’re sure they’ll believe you.

Tue, 02 Feb 2010 00:00:00 -0800

The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking into whether Toyota Motor Corp.'s problems with unintended acceleration can be traced to defects in the electrical controls rather than just the mechanical problems cited by the automaker, a Transportation official said Tuesday. “We're not finished with Toyota and are continuing to review possible defects and monitor the implementation of the recalls,” Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said in a statement.
