1962-1966 Excellent condition hood ornament pair from a 1964 GMC pickup. V6 emblems. Excellent condition. Will work for Chevy pickups from that era as well. No scratches or corrosion. Mounting center pins strong, threaded area excellent. Bolts included. Also included is a body plate from the truck that features the weight and engine size. This particular example of a 1935 12/4 Austin Taxi is no ordinary cab though, having transported the rich and famous as part of its role as gust transport for boutique hotel, Blakes, in London’s South Kensington. Plucked from its more humble street life in the 70’s by the hotel’s creator - film star and actress turned hotelier and interior designer - Anouska Hempel (now Lady Weinberg) - the 1935 Austin Taxi Low Loading became the exclusive hotel transport soon after the hotel’s opening, for Blakes’s many famous guests including Ali McGraw, Neil Diamond, Robert Redford, Bob Dylan and Jane Russell.

Audi revealed the TT RS Plus back in February – ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March – as a new range-topping model to sit above the existing TT RS. The TT RS Plus gets pretty much the same performance and power levels as the US version of the TT RS, but Audi has positioned the RS Plus at the top of the range in the UK and Europe as a more hard-core version of the regular RS.
