This auction is for one lower steering column bearing and support assembly for 64-65-66 Chevelle and 63-64-65-66 Impala with a  Tilt column shift automatic, floor shift automatic, or floor shift manual trans steering column. This assembly replaces GM # 5678588 adapter & 7802845 bearing. We
also manufacture a simular item for these applications with a NonTilt steering column. Check out my other items!

This lower bearing support is manufactured from White Delrin material, the sealed bearing is new and is made in the USA. This assembly installs into the mast jacket like the original. Beware that this bearing assembly is not the same one offered by another vendor. We are the original manufacturer. Our bearing is a factory sealed unit (note the black rubber seal) and our assembly installs into the column as originally designed. No modification to the steering column is needed to install this assembly. This item is advertised by one of our national dealers at $89.00, same bearing, same quality.

We also manufacture a total of 14 different lower bearing assemblies that cover most all GM applications from 1958 thru 1995. Not just Chevelle, Nova, Camaro, and Impala but also Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, and Chevy and GMC Pickups, GM Motor Home chassis as well as P series vans and Cab-Chassis units. Most of these have been discontinued by GM for several years.

We can custom manufacture a lower bearing assembly for your special product. If you need a single part or 1000 pcs. contact us.

We also manufacture and overhaul tilt and standard steering columns for most GM, Ford, & Mopar cars and Pickups from 1948 thru 1995. From parts to overhaul service we can get you on the road. Jaguar Supermini is Ian Callum’s hobby-horse

Fri, 13 Apr 2012

Ian Callum wants Jaguar to build a Supermini Jaguar’s Design boss, Ian Callum, has a passion for Jaguar to build a Supermini – although it could be a way off. Ian Callum’s designs have moved Jaguar from a design pastiche of the past to an individual and contemporary design language that acknowledges the past but cleverly heralds the future. From the XJ to the new F-Type by way of the XF (now even better now it’s closer to Callum’s original C-XF Concept) and even the XK, Callum’s foresight is a big part of Jaguar’s resurgence.
