New old stock from old Chevy dealership. Stored in attic of old dealership, so some pieces could be brittle - never opened until taking these photos. Parts books show this set is for: 63-68 292 under part number 3930964 and 67-70 292 based on replacement number 3960190 - please bid based upon your knowledge. No reserve and very low starting bid - what you see is included and no warranty for gaskets this old. I will combine shipments to save postage. I will also ship outside the US, but ship cost will be higher (but at my cost to ship - keep in mind, they are over 24" long, so outside the US shipping is a little high). Thank you. NOTE: If you are a big fan of these 292 engines, I will be listing a 292 'fitted block' this fall - still in it's original crate - part number 358819 which crosses over to 63-72. Casting number is 328578 - which one listing on the Internet shows is for 73-84. I may also have an NOS head and crankshaft too, but have to dig them out. A fitted block has alum. pistons, rings, pins and bearings. |

Tue, 27 Jan 2009Opel has released a teaser sketch of its new five-door extended-range electric car ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Based on the Voltec powertrain and chassis architecture of Chevrolet's Volt, the Ampera promises to surpass that car in terms of style by some margin. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.
