You are bidding on a set of 1964-1967 Corvette convertible interior OEM Stainless windshield moldings. There are a total of 3 pieces. They have been professionally buffed and polished to Bloomington Gold quality standards. The photos do not do the pieces justice. There's no dings, dents or scratches on these, they are as pristine as they come.

If you call a Corvette parts supplier, exterior windshield moldings cost $200 each (if you can find them), and $100 each to polish them, for a total of $900. We have them ready for you now. We also take trades. We need your old mouldings. Questions? Email me or call 708-267-7746.

Feds researching fire risks from EV batteries, regulator says
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Federal safety regulators have begun an $8.75 million study of whether lithium ion batteries in electric vehicles pose a potential fire hazard, officials said Thursday. Kevin Vincent, chief counsel of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, said researchers are looking at whether the high-voltage batteries can cause fires when they are being charged and when the vehicles are in an accident.
