This is A NOS 14035663 left side trailing arm which was originally used for 1982 Corvettes. However, they soon thereafter became the SERVICE REPLACEMENT trailing arm for all 1963-81 Corvettes as well as.

The differences between these arms and earlier 63-64 arms are very minor. Primarily, it involved the installation and/or placement of the parking brake cable bracket which changed for the 1978 model year (moved rearword slightly due to the wider 255-60-15 tires used for some 1978-82). Also, for the 1982 model year, 4 small holes were added around the rear hole through which the bearing support mounts. These holes are located at 90 degree spacings and are for the self-tapping screws used to retain the u-joint shields used for the 1982 model year only. These holes can easily be filled if desired.

The arms can be used for any 1965-82 with no problem, at all, They can also be used for 63-64, but the parking brake cable bracket may be removed.

New Mercedes SL 65 AMG on video With the 2013 Mercedes SL 65 AMG now revealed, Mercedes has sent us a video of the new range-topping SL in action. We had the reveal of the new Mercedes SL 65 AMG earlier this week ahead of a public debut at the New York Auto Show in April. And despite the hope that Mercedes would continue its line of V12 range-toppers in the new SL, we still had our doubts it would happen.

Them's the Breaks: Mercedes concept name razes I browse

Wed, 21 Apr 2010

Yes, yes, we know. The Mercedes-Benz use of the term “Shooting Break” as the name for its latest concept vehicle is, well, it's just so wrong. The traditional, and most people would say correct, spelling is “shooting brake.” As AW's copy chief, I take this sort of thing very much to heart and felt moved to respond to the yowling of readers on our Web site.
