THIS AUCTION IN FOR ONE ALTERNATOR This is an Original Chevrolet Alternator used on Corvettes and other passenger cars from 1965 - 1967. The 37 Amp alternator pictured is stamped with the Delco #1100693 and date code 5A28 (1965 January 28). It was used on all base 327 Cu. In. Engines in 1965, base 327 & 427 Cu. In. Engines in 1966 & 1967 and base 300 HP - 400 HP in 1968. This alternator was professionally rebuilt and come with a 12 month guarantee. Mercedes-Benz found guilty of price-fixing in China
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Associated Press Mercedes-Benz has been found guilty of fixing prices of car parts in China – with BMW, Audi and Chrysler also facing penalties. China’s state news agency, Xinhua, reports that the German manufacturer has been found guilty of using its power to control the prices of parts. The Chinese government is cracking down on monopolies and has been accused of being too harsh on companies from abroad.

But now Mercedes has gone one better, and put up a Mercedes SLS AMG Website (well, a micro-site anyway) so those that are mesmerised by Mercedes’ 21st century recreation of the legendary 300SL can get their fix of all things SLS between now and 2011 when the SLS is likely to hit the roads. The website’s not a proper configurator as such, rather a complete encyclopedia of all things SLS – from technology to interior – with lots of images and detail.
Petrol prices reach three-year low
Fri, 21 Mar 2014PETROL PRICES are at a three-year low, with Yorkshire and Humberside remaining the cheapest area, according to figures from the AA. But the good news for drivers is offset by a real-terms dip in earnings which has pushed wages back to 2002 levels adjusting for inflation, the AA added. Petrol forecourt prices across the UK averaged 129.46p a litre in mid March compared to 129.63p in mid February.
