67 68 69 70 71 72 Pontiac GTO, Olds 442, Buick GS, Impala, Chevelle, Corvette, Camaro - POA Valve. Very nice condition, Came off a working 1970 Chevelle A/C system. Original GM part. Exactly correct for many GM cars. 15-51-2 This looks and works just like new. Plating is very - very nice. Inside is very clean - needs nothing, just bolt on. Perfect for the Following years: 1967 - 1972. Exactly Correct for Corvette, Nova, Chevelle, GTO, 442, GS, Camaro, Impala, and many other GM automobiles. This is a vintage item, it is exactly correct for 65-72 GM A/C cars. There are 3 different configurations of POA valves - please be sure of your application The only real difference, is the location of the expansion valve inlet port. Other than that, they ALL function exactly the same. Restorers, be careful- For judging, typically a rebuilt valve from some of the other vendors will not be correct, the sides of those valves have to be cut away during the rebuilding process. A "Must have" item for NCRS, Bloomington Gold, or AACA Judging. All of my POA valves are cleaned, lubricated, and tested before shipping. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE POA VALVE. This is an original POA, guarenteed working, and in factory original configuration.It is NOT one of those overly restored ones, where the protruding sides had to be cut off and removed. Sat, 13 Nov 2010The 21st Century 'Routemaster' Double-Decker Bus will be in service by 2012 I doubt we can speak for everyone who visits London. But from our perspective London is a poorer place now the iconic Routemaster red buses are relegated to the odd heritage route and pay-to-see tourist trip (and we’d have to say the same about Mercedes Taxis – nicer places to be but they don’t look right). What’s needed is a 21st century version of the Routemaster (and the Black Cab – but that’s another story).

Mon, 24 Oct 2011McLaren MP4-12C sets a time at the Nurburgring We’ve had a spate of claims for lap records at the Nurburgring by production cars, and the latest to play the game is the McLaren MP4-12C, with McLaren claiming a time of 7.28:00. The last shenanigans we had with Nurburgring records was with the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR setting a Nurburgring time of 7:12.13 which, although very quick – and claimed as a Nurburgring record – wasn’t actually a record at all. Although we do have sympathy with our colonial cousins who believe its validity is greater than that of cars like the Radical.

Tue, 22 Nov 2011Porsche has developed an innovative fabric and composite-plastic folding roof for the 911 cabriolet as part of a push to give it a cleaner appearance, improved aerodynamic efficiency and greater levels of refinement than its strong-selling predecessor. Pictured here officially for the first time ahead of its world premiere in January at the Detroit auto show, the new open-top 911 is planned to go on sale in North America in 2012 in Carrera cabriolet and Carrera S models. Eschewing the traditional multilayered fabric structure of the 997 series 911 cabriolet, the next model (991 series) adopts a specially developed lightweight roof that uses two fabric-skinned composite plastic panels for the upper and rear part of the structure, giving it a more uniform shape together with a tauter fit that is claimed to make it more resistant than before to buffeting at high speeds.
