I pulled this off a 68 Ranger. All original with the exception of a couple stainless screws and new nylon mounting bushings for the headlight bezels. I cleaned and repainted the buckets using a semi-gloss epoxy and gave it a quick polish by hand. Has maybe 3 nicks smaller than the size of a bb. The headlight bezels have a couple small scrapes and the anodized finish is a bit thin on the very top of the grill. With all that said, the grille is as straight and complete as they come. Not too shiny and not too dull. The original finish shines bright and is not pitted or scraped. The only thing this part needs is a nice rig to pop it on. Let me know if you have any q's or concerns and I'll call you. Free shipping via FEDEX to your front door!

Driven: Honda CR-Z

Wed, 16 Jun 2010

The Honda CR-Z has been a long time coming. Although the concept debuted in 2007, as a project it's been kicking around Honda for over 10 years. Since the first Insight was launched in 1999, there have been numerous stop-start projects to produce a hybrid successor to the much-loved CR-X coupe.

Tesla ‘drops’ entry-level Model S. But was it ever going to be available?

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

The 40kWh version of the Tesla Model S is being dropped by Tesla in the US, but we do wonder if Tesla ever had any intention of delivering it in the first place. Tesla’s big claim ahead of the arrival of the, very impressive, Model S – and a seemingly vital part of the US taxpayer funding Tesla to develop the Model S – was that they would deliver a car that cost under $50k, something the car industry thought impossible. But when the Model S was launched, Tesla did indeed have an entry-level model available with a 4okWh battery that was listed at $58,750 (taking it almost down to the $50k mark after the US taxpayer chipped in the EV bribe) so Elon Musk could, quite reasonably, claim Tesla had delivered.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec revealed: Los Angeles Auto Show

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec revealed We like the Hyundai Veloster – really, we do – even if its looks make promises it really can’t deliver. There’s nothing wrong with the way the Veloster goes or handles, but there’s nothing exciting either; it’s a sporty-looking coupe for buyers who don’t really like driving but want something that looks sporty. And that’s a big market.
