This is a complete set up for 1967 1968 Mustang and Fairlane and Mercury Cyclone models with the 390 and 428 engines.   It includes both heads and both exhaust manifolds.   The casting numbers on the heads are C7AE-A with a date code of Sept 20 1966.  All four parts are a matched set from one engine.   The exhaust manifolds are engineering numbers C7OE 9431 A and C6OE 9430 A with date codes of Sept 9 and Sept 14 of 1966.  I have disassembled the heads and checked them and they will need a valve job and possibly several valves and probably a couple of seats.   No Cracks anywhere on any piece.   The guides feel pretty good to me.  The studs on the manifolds are good and usable.  Some pits on the manifolds.  No repairs on anything.    No welds, no porting, no modifications.   The heads are correct for 1967 Shelby 428 cars.   This is a good set and not some piece of crap which has been highly modified or laying around in someones' backyard for  years.   Please look carefully at the photos, because they are all in bare metal (the way I like to buy my engine parts) you can see exactly what they are.   Shipping will be $140 and they will be sent UPS and in 2 boxes to anywhere in the Continental US.   No shipping to anywhere else.   Please ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.   Buy with confidence!

One Lap of the Web: The Internet celebrates the Mustang

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

Fifty years ago, Muhammad Ali became the heavyweight champion of the world, "Jeopardy!" debuted, Lockheed went 2,000 mph with the YF-12 and a mop-topped band went on a television show to promote what would be shameless nostalgia for the next 50 years, even while it was happening. Oh, and Ford introduced the Mustang, an event that would be Lee Iacocca's Second Greatest Shining Moment, behind introducing Chrysler's TC by Maserati as the prettiest Italian to arrive stateside since his mother. The World's Fair was 50 years ago this week, and the Internet remembers what it was like when the Mustang came out.

New BMW X4 price and specs for the UK – costs from £36,590

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

The new BMW X4 is now on sale in the UK The new BMW X4 – BMW’s baby X6 and a ‘coupe’ version of the very able X3 – arrived at the Geneva Motor SHow in March, and it’s now on sale in the UK priced from £36,590 for the BMW X4 xDrive20d SE, a chunky £3.5k more than the equivalent X3. But what you’re buying in the new X4 is a lifestyle statement rather than a family SAV like the X3, so the premium is so others know you’re prepared to pay more for a less practical urban SUV. Still, a similar scenario with the X5 and X6 hasn’t stopped buyers opting for the X6 instead and it seems likely the X4 will take an even bigger split of the X3/X4 sales than the X6 does from the X5.
