The mid-sized SUV uses the same platform as Mitsubishi's ASX and is ‘a modern response to the needs of all-terrain vehicle customers' according to Peugeot. It adopts an aesthetic that sits somewhere between Peugeot's latest identity – typified by the 508 – and the heavily contoured hood, grille-dominated DRG and drawn-back lamps we've seen from the brand over the past ten years or so.

PSA Peugeot Citroen has revealed it is to close one factory, cut job numbers elsewhere and shed a total of 8,000 jobs as demand for its cars dwindles.
