“We restore original GM 15X8 AZ Rally Wheels. The auction price is $150 per wheel. They are thoroughly checked for blemishes & bends---and spun to check balance. Then they are blasted to clean old paint and any rust. For and additional $50 per wheel ($200 each)--we used original color black primer on the back and correct silver color on the outside. If you need a specific date code that you don't see--let us know. We also carry a 68 AG 15X7 wheels. Please contact us before bidding to confirm we have your date in stock. Contact us for restoration services of your wheels.”

Kelsey Hayes Wheels are normally date coded 2-3 months prior to car "born on" date

Conditions vary--some have light date code stamps---inquire for pics of actual wheels

These are stored in dry storage---but depending on storage time---make have some light surface rust that will need to be touched up before painting

A tribute to Jim Das

On May 15 GM Europe designer Jim Das passed away in a Wiesbaden hospital after a year-long battle with leukemia. Jim joined the Opel Design team in 1997 following the completion of his Masters degree at the Royal College of Art. In 1998-99 Jim had a stint in Italy at the Opel Advanced Studio and worked on a roadster study (currently on display at Opel Live in Ruesselsheim).

2012 Lexus GS on track at Toyota's huge proving ground in Belgium We’ve managed to churn out a number of stories on the 2012 Lexus GS over the last few weeks as Lexus ramps up the interest in their new GS ahead of its debut at Pebble Beach in August. It all started with the Lexus LF-Gh concept at Geneva in the spring – the new GS in Concept guise –  since when our spy photographers have managed to grab shots of a disguised GS out ploughing round the Nurburgring and we’ve had a Lexus boss musing the likelihood of a Lexus GS Coupe – and an official announcement that the GS 350 will arrive at Pebble. Now we get one of the oxymorons of car PR in the internet age – the ‘Official’ Spy Video.

The convergence of great remote-controlled cars and super cheap video cameras has brought us more RC spoof videos than we know what to do with. But this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. Vax Studios put this “Fast and Furious” homage together and dedicated it to the late Paul Walker.
