I was going to set up a 300HP + transmission for my pickup but I  acquired a rebuilt trans that was already done the way I needed it, at a reasonable price so I don't need these high performance parts.  I have the 5 pinion output planetary with very slight use, the reaction gear support and sun gear.  The little needle bearings for the pinion gears roll freely.   Included in this deal is the end bell from an 1988 IROC Z-28 trans that allows you to bolt up the torque arms to it.  This is a pretty scarce part by itself, usually you have to buy a whole tranny from the salvage yards in order to get this part.  (That's what I had to do)  I don't have the torque arms but if you are building something 300HP or higher, the torque arms are usually needed.  Might keep the tranny case from  self destructing.  US bidders only please.    The 5 pinion output planetary parts will work for high performance Corvette but the end bell will NOT fit Corvette.  The corvette has  a shorter output shaft and stubbier end bell.

Elio three-wheel prototype revealed

Wed, 08 May 2013

Elio Motors unveiled a prototype of its two-passenger, three-wheeled vehicle Wednesday, confirming the all-new vehicle will have a $6,800 base price when it goes on sale in June 2014. Paul Elio, company founder and CEO, said the vehicle is targeted at first-time or cash-strapped buyers, as well as for families who already have a family car and are seeking something inexpensive for daily commuting. Its sub $7,000-base price makes it almost half the price of the cheapest car in the U.S.
