This kit contains everything normally replaced in a do-it-yourself HI-PERFORMANCE overhaul of the transmission. There are other items, like thrust washers, bearings, servo’s and shift kits that can be added to this transmission. We have them listed in our EBAY Store. If you are new to rebuilding automatic transmissions, you will need to soak the frictions materials for 30 minutes in transmission fluid before installing.

What Land Rover has actually done with this facelift for the Freelander is blur the lines even more between Land Rover and Range Rover, with a push upmarket for the Freelander 2.
