Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, which would increase the firm’s current 5% stake in the British brand. Following a deal to supply AMG engines to Aston for its next generation of vehicles (hence the current 5% share), a buyout or even further investment in Aston Martin could be beneficial to both brands. In this capacity, he will lead all of the Peugeot and Citroën styling teams, which have been consolidated at the Group's Automotive Design Network facility in Vélizy since 2004. This combined Peugeot and Citroën design center provides effective support for the Group's commitment to strengthening and differentiating the two brands' styling universes, a process that was initiated by Chairman Christian Streiff as part of the dynamic of the CAP 2010 program.
