77 MAICO 400AW MAHLE PISTON, 77.40, USED. Removed from a Maico motocross bike with frame serial #3300907 and motor serial #R3232188. Piston is stamped 77.40 on the dome. There is a seize spot on the exhaust side skirt but it does not extend into the ring grooves so it can be cleaned up a re-used. The ring grooves are good and the ring locating pins are there. The wrist pin bore is good. No cracks or chipped areas. These Mahle pistons will last forever. Much better than any other brand. Tue, 14 May 2013Volkswagen Group and Ford Motor Co. fared well among automakers in an annual study released Monday measuring quality and how deeply consumers feel about a new car or light-truck purchase after several months of ownership. And for the first time in over a decade, domestic automakers, led by GM, topped foreign brands in individual product segments surveyed by Strategic Vision, a California research and consulting firm.
Daimler and BYD name new brand Denza
Mon, 26 Mar 2012Mercedes-Benz sources in Germany have confirmed Chinese media reports suggesting that parent company Daimler and Chinese carmaker BYD's new joint venture brand will be called Denza. Created as a Chinese-market-only brand, Denza is planned to support a range of "affordable" electric-powered vehicles, the first of which is set to be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next month. Based on the underpinnings of the first-generation Mercedes-Benz B-class--a car originally designed to accept batteries within its flat floor structure--the first Denza model was developed in China by a team of engineers from both Daimler and BYD Auto.
