This is a 5 speed center console that came out of a 1985 Trans am. It is complete with the console insert lid(no cracks!) hinges work/opens properly, 5 speed indicator with bezel(does have the typical scratches here and thee but no cracks! Also comes with the front storage compartment that has the cig lighter(door has cracks but was glued from inside and still opens properly. It has the ash tray on the back as well and the black surround bezel was media blasted and repainted painted black. The shifter boot does have some rips and tears which is typical. But over all this a rare console since they did not make many 5 speeds, mostly automatics! It has never been re-dyed and the vinyl has no rips or tears what so ever! Over all it is NOT in show quality condition but is in nice drive quality condition!!!! See pics!!!!!!!!

Mercedes-Benz starts voluntary recall of 2013 SL-class
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Mercedes-Benz has initiated a voluntary recall for its 2013 SL-class due to an issue with the air-conditioning system. Under “worst-case condition” testing during a severe front impact, a rupture of the refrigerant line is possible, which could cause a fire in the engine compartment. According to the report from Mercedes Benz, the refrigerant does not ignite under normal conditions.
