Porsche will return to Le Mans LMP1 class in 2014

Porsche have announced their intention to return to top-level sports prototype racing in 2014, with a car to compete in the LMP1 class at the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Thomas Ingenlath is set to assume the position of Vice President of Design for Volvo on July 1. He succeeds Peter Horbury who is now Senior Vice President of Design for Geely Group. Ingenlath will report directly to Volvo Car Corporation President and CEO, Stefan Jacoby.
