Porsche have announced their intention to return to top-level sports prototype racing in 2014, with a car to compete in the LMP1 class at the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Hoping to attract younger buyers, Ford's Lincoln division unveiled the Lincoln C concept at the Detroit Auto Show this week, a car Lincoln calls a big idea for a small luxury car. Ford's vision: a small, more fuel-efficient car for congested urban areas and compact parking spaces that still provides driver and passengers with luxury and comfort of larger sedans. Thomas Ingenlath is set to assume the position of Vice President of Design for Volvo on July 1. He succeeds Peter Horbury who is now Senior Vice President of Design for Geely Group. Ingenlath will report directly to Volvo Car Corporation President and CEO, Stefan Jacoby.
