Peugeot 5008: The Toy Story 3 Advert

Sun, 27 Jun 2010

Woody checks out the Peugeot 5008 Peugeot are planning a big advertising splash in Europe, and have teamed up with Pixar/Disney to use well known characters from the Toy Story films in the ads, which are due to roll out across Europe from this week. The firts advert up is  for the Peugeot 5008, a more than competent people shifter from Peugeot (in fact those nice people at Peugeot are due to send us one soon, so look out for a proper in-depth review and road test on the 5008 as we spend a week with it). Aston Martin AM310 makes a quiet debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Tue, 29 May 2012

The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is more than a celebration of classic automotive design. It's also a great opportunity to view cutting-edge concept vehicles. This year's event saw the debut of the BMW Zagato coupe concept, and the Alfa Romeo 4C concept took home the concours' coveted “Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes.” You'd never know it based on the official coverage (or lack thereof), but Aston Martin also unveiled a concept at the concours.

Concept Car of the Week: Ferrari Pinin (1980)

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Over the years, Ferrari has slowly built a reputation for the fact that any car that wears the prancing horse badge on its bonnet ought to be a design masterpiece. Everyone has their own personal favorite: 250 GTO, 250 GT California Spider, 330 P4, Modulo, Daytona, you name it...  Yet few would remember – or even know about – the odd ones, the ugly Ferraris hidden away, rarely allowed to see the light of day; a few rare cars that got brushed under the carpet as quickly as they appeared include the 365 GTC/4, FZ93 Zagato, the 408 Integrale and the Pinin. Most of them are the work of independent studios, long-distanced from Enzo's (dis)approval.
