The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Series air spring kit provides the safest, most durable, and maintenance-free suspension option available for towing or loaded vehicles. The internal jounce bumper helps the vehicle absorb shock and prevents vehicle from ever bottoming out. The LoadLifter Ultimate series is available for all of the same makes and models as ther current LoadLifter 5000 line.

Porsche 911 buyers flock to rare 24-month leases
Mon, 28 Mar 2011Porsche is pushing 24-month leases for its 911 and is running a six-month lease pull-ahead incentive on all of its sports cars to offset a shortage of low-mileage used cars. This year, 22 percent of all 911 lessees have taken 24-month contracts rather than 36-month deals, says Michael Bartsch, COO of Porsche Cars North America. That compares with 10 percent before the push.
Ikuo Maeda to replace Laurens van den Acker as General Manager of Design at Mazda

He replaces Laurens van den Acker, who has decided to leave Mazda to pursue other interests. Following on from the successful tenure of van den Acker, Maeda will lead the Japanese automaker's global design team and be responsible for the overall design and styling of Mazda's global products.
Japan automakers extend shutdowns as quake impact widens
Mon, 14 Mar 2011Japan's seven big automakers are extending nationwide production shutdowns amid growing concern about supply chain interruptions, power shortages and export difficulties following the massive earthquake and tsunami that hammered northern Japan, killing thousands. Toyota Motor Corp., one of the few automakers with a major manufacturing presence in the quake zone, suspended all manufacturing--at both assembly and parts plants--on Monday and extended the shutdown through at least Wednesday as an added precaution. The company will lose output of roughly 40,000 vehicles over the three-day period, spokesman Dion Corbett said.
