VW designer de'Silva pens a Leica camera

Leica, the German camera maker, introduced the Walter de'Silva-designed Leica M9 Titanium edition camera recently at Photokina, the biannual photo gathering in Germany. De'Silva, head of design for Volkswagen and responsible for designing the Audi A5 and Volkswagen Scirocco, took Leica's original M9 camera and created the M9 Titanium. De'Silva employed his Audi design team to assist in the project.

Renault Twizy RS F1 concept (2013) first official pictures

Renault has given the Twizy electric car a mad twist by bolting on an F1-style KERS system for Megane Renaultsport 265-worrying performance available for the very brave. The Twizy Renault Sport F1 Concept sits on single seater racing wheels, has an F1-apeing front splitter, side-pods, rear wing and even a rear diffuser to make the link to the racing side of Renault’s activities. Updated: Lexus LF-LC Concept

The Lexus LF-LC concept – a four-seat coupe that will make its debut at the NAIAS in Detroit – has been further unveiled in these latest shots. Designed in Toyota's Catly studio in Newport Beach, California, the show car appears to develop Lexus' L-Finesse design language, while retaining familiar features such as the huge grille first seen on the LF-Gh concept and subsequent GS sedan production car. The upward flick of the windowline into the C-pillar is also reminiscent of the flagship LFA.
