This is 52mm ported throttle body. We remove the 48mm hour glass shape inside and taper it up to 55mm. Thin out the shaft and install new blades and ss screws. The idle screw plug has also been removed for easer tuning. All cnc machined and ready to bolt on using factory hardware and sensors. $40 will be refunded to you as soon as I receive your old one minus the sensors and brackets. Please let me know what year and model you have because there's some different linkage types. I would suggest you get a throttle body from a junkyard and send me that one. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can see in the picture the huge difference between the two. This will require you to reset your computer and clean or replace the IAC valve in order for it to re learn the idle speed.
Please note... ONLY CORES FROM A mid 96 AND UP CAN BE MADE INTO A 52mm... If you have something older you may have to find one in a junkyard to send in for core...You also have the option of sending yours in a head of time and avoiding the core charge completely. Please let me know if that is what you want to do. Also, the cores must be somewhat clean! Cores that are returned greasy or have lots of oxidation will only be refunded $15. If there is a broken screw only $10 will be refunded. Cores that are broken in any way will not be refunded at all. Having good clean cores is the only way to keep the price down... Most self help junkyards charge $30 for a used one. If you have multiple cores I can cut the price a bit too.... |

Datsun set to launch new car on July 15
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Datsun -- that's right we said Datsun -- revealed teaser sketches on Tuesday of its first new generation car, which will be unveiled in New Delhi, India on July 15. Normally we don't go much for teasers, but when it's a “new” car brand, we take notice. Datsun operated worldwide starting in 1914, until the last badge was peeled off a car in 1986, being replaced by Nissan.
VW Scirocco GTS launches – but not in UK
Sun, 21 Oct 2012There’s a new Scirocco available across Europe from this month – the VW Scirocco GTS – but it’s not coming to the UK. The GTS is more of a trim level than a stand-alone model and you can grab it with a variety of engines – 1.4 litre TSI, 2.0 litre TSI and 2.0 litre TDI – as the GTS trim just adds cosmetic tweaks to the Scirocco and nothing in the way of power or performance upgrades. Those cosmetic tweaks amount to thumping great black stripes up the bonnet bordered by thinner red stripes (which all continues over the top and down the back of the GTS), red covers for the door mirrors, 18″ alloys, a spoiler at the back (nicked from the Scirocco R) and a more butch back bumper with diffuser.

Mon, 03 Oct 2011New Alfa Romeo 1.8 litre turbo engine - destined for the Alfa 4C Alfa Romeo are on something of a push to make themselves seem a viable part of the Fiat setup, with a plan to push hard in to America (although that keeps getting delayed) and new product on the horizon. One of those new products is the Alfa 4C which we expected to get a version of the existing Alf 1750 lump with around 250bhp. But it looks like that’s not going to be the case after all.
