Drink driving deaths UP by 25%

Drink-drive related road deaths rose by 25% last year, with a staggering one in six fatalities on the UK’s roads connected to alcohol consumption, according to the latest government figures. Department for Transport (DfT) data revealed that 290 people lost their lives through drink-drive crashes during 2012, marking a significant increase from the 230 individuals killed in 2011. Vauxhall calls its new 2013 city car the Adam

Vauxhall has revealed the name for its new city car – the car previously dubbed Junior will in fact be called the Adam. It’s one of the more oddball car names we’ve heard recently. As well as announcing the Adam name, Vauxhall today issued two photographs of a disguised city car, giving us the first official glimpse of its new hatchback.
