1992 - 1999 Mercedes Benz W140 S class used vacuum pump. Part number 140 800 1748 . Removed from a 1999 S420. Location is upper left corner of the trunk. This pump operates the trunk and doors closing assist. Please be sure to match the part number given. The W140 has 2 vacuum pumps: one is under the rear seat and one is in the upper left corner of the trunk. Each pump operates different things in the vehicle. This unit operates door assist and trunk close. Door locks are operated by the other unit (NOT THIS ONE) under the rear seat. All pictures are actual item. GET IT FAST!! The misguided rider ended up pedalling for some miles on the southern section of the M25 in Surrey. With drivers, and others, taking to Twitter to give their views of the man, there were long hold-ups for morning traffic on the often-clogged motorway.
