Citroen AirCross – based on Citroen C3 Picasso – revealed
Mon, 05 Apr 2010The Citroen AirCross - looks like a South America only crossover This could be a new car from Citroen, but it could just as easily be another of those oddities that car makers throw at the southern end of the Americas. Citroen in Brazil has revealed – via Twitter – the Citroen AirCross, which is basically a Citroen C3 Picasso with a bit of Crossover / SUV butchness thrown in to create a rugged urban crossover. And it’s based on the old Citroen C3, which makes us think there’s a chance this may not be a world car.
AC Cobra Mk VI to show at Monaco
Mon, 13 Apr 2009AC is due to show the AC Cobra MK VI at the Top Marques Show in Monaco Despite being a UK car maker, AC is to build the new Cobra MK VI in Germany, at Gullwing GmbH, which gives a clue to the car’s unique feature – a removable hard top with gullwing doors. The AC Cobra has a long history, and is one of the most sought after replica cars on the market (which is hardly surprising considering the cost of an original Cobra), and is said to be single handedly responsible for the UK’s national 70mph speed limit, which was brought in after some extremely high-speed incidents on the new M1, where AC was testing its cars. Suzuki XA Alpha concept
Mon, 16 Jan 2012The XA Alpha concept 2012 was unveiled at the New Dehli Auto Expo by Suzuki and its Indian collaborator, Maruti. Although little information has been released, rumors circling the show floor suggest that it is underpinned by the Swift platform. Similar in size to Nissan's Juke, the XA Alpha is pitched at India's youth market, although the show car's suicide doors and highly detailed lamp graphics are unlikely to reach showrooms.
