Buick hopes 'Truth' site will set it free, help launch Regal

To help launch the 2011 Regal sedan, Buick will host a social media Web site with videos from buyers supplied with flip cameras, just like Ford's campaign for the youth-oriented Fiesta small car. But the Regal site will feature reviews, not the playful commercials and local coming-out parties that characterize the Fiesta Movement.

October’s 23% drop was the worst so far and trade body SMMT now fears sales could end the year at just 2.15 million cars. That’s 8% lower than the 2.34 million predicted to leave showrooms back in January and would be the worst market performance in more than a decade.
