Here is a ground effects garnishment sill trim piece for the passenger's (right)
side of the vehicle that mounts under the doors from the front wheel opening to
the rear wheel opening. Part number 71800 / 50-SV4-0000. There are scratches
along the entire bottom as can be expected since this piece takes the punishment
of whatever the front wheel throws at it. There are no breaks or cracks. All
mounting slots are in good shape.

It’s just so ill-conceived it beggars belief that a company as savvy and successful as Mercedes can’t see it.
