 Up for auction is a used 6 speed ebony console top removed from a 2001 Firebird. This top is in great condition, and comes as pictured.  The ash tray lid and spring are 100% functional. The console tops are very hard to find in this condition after 10 years of use. This is a direct fit for all 1997-2002 model camaros and firebirds. It is ebony, not the gray used in 98-99. Electric-car innovator Tom Gage resigned the morning of Oct. 5 from California company AC Propulsion, Autoweek has learned. Gage, the now-former CEO, joined the company in 1996, several years after its founding, and has become its public face and a widely used resource on electric cars.

My first Jaguar experience was with the purchase of an XJ6 Coupe which I bought because I thought it was very elegant.  The 4.2 straight six never failed to impress in the way the car just disappeared over the horizon in plush silence (apart from some wind noise from the door seals) and I loved the drama of opening two petrol caps and pumping in fuel from both sides of the car. After long fast drives to southern Germany I always arrived as fresh as when I started out. The car attracted admiring interest from everyone including little old ladies!
